The Lagos PDP chair gave the advice to the erstwhile Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu, who was removed from office by the Edo State House of Assembly on Monday.

Philip Aivoji made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Lagos, following the removal of Mr Shaibu by the Edo State House of Assembly. Following Mr Shaibu’s sacking, Mr Obaseki immediately appointed and swore in 38-year-old Mr Omobayo Godwin as his new deputy. “Since this has happened, he should look for a way of mending fences to actualise his dream of becoming the governor. He can still become the governor,” he said.
