The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known while announcing new cases of coronavirus in the country.

According to the NCDC, 681 infections were recorded in Nigeria, which is the highest single-day cases reported in the country – surpassing the 553 cases announced on May 30.

The NCDC said, “On the 11th of June 2020, 681 new confirmed cases and 5 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.“No new state has reported a case in the last 24 hours. “The 681 new cases are reported from 17 states- Lagos, Rivers, Ogun, Gombe, Oyo, Imo, Delta, Kano, Bauchi, Edo, Katsina, Kaduna, Anambra, Jigawa, Kebbi, Ondo, and Nasarawa.”reports that the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Lagos are 6,611. Of these, 5,532 are active cases, 997 have recovered and 82 dead.
