The Lagos State Government has said it would partner with the lawmaker representing Eti-Osa Constituency II at the state House of Assembly, Gbolahan Yishawu, to train youths in digital skills.

“Yishawu, in partnering with the state government to achieve this, is not only teaching youths how to fish but teaching them how to fish in foreign currency because the opportunity is there and it is up to the young people to make sure that they take advantage of it.”

In his address, Yishawu promised that half of the youth that will participate in the training will be given job placements. “We have sustained all the programmes we have been doing from the inception of my administration and I urge the beneficiaries to devote their time and energy to complete the training. Though this training is free, you need some level of commitment because half of the participants will get job placements,” he said. All rights reserved.
