The construction firm, Julius Berger, in charge of the Lagos-Sagamu section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, has announced traffic diversion from Saturday, October 29, 2022, to allow for the complete repair of the road.
“We might have that happen on Saturday or Sunday, and you will experience a standstill movement at any time on the road and it is for the betterment of the road travellers.
“This diversion point will take motorists to the U-turn that is created instead of the one at Fagbems because it has not been fixed. This new road is better than the previous one that is being plied and the repair won’t take long at all,” he maintained. “The diversion road will be better off compared to the bad portions that are currently being used and complained of, assuring that traffic officials and Federal Road Safety Corps officials will be available to control the situation,” he addedAll rights reserved.
