The Lagos police command says six out of 19 persons arrested during the gubernatorial election will be prosecuted for alleged electoral offences.

Hundeyin said the suspects were involved in 21 cases including attacks on Independent National Electoral Commission officials, vandalism, and ballot box snatching. Hundeyin said that two other suspects allegedly stole a truck parked by its driver which was carrying a brand new car belonging to the U.S. embassy in Lagos.He said the suspects were arrested while trying to sell off the truck with the car at the cost of about N5 million.
Hundeyin said that two suspected robbers who used a Lagos commercial bus to rob prospective passengers were paraded.
