The Lagos State Government has sensitised staff members of the Lagos State Drivers’ Institute to the importance of safety consciousness and proficiency in road use by drivers.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Mr Kamar Olowoshago, stated this on Saturday during the annual ‘Train-the-trainer,’ workshop organised for the LASDRI workforce in Oshodi.

He said, “I would enjoin you all to see your training as a golden opportunity to acquire more knowledge and skills as trainers and it is high time every one of us moved from a fixed mindset to a growth mindset that teaches positive attitude, discipline and contentment. “This year’s train-the-trainers workshop will expose the participants to a more acceptable practice aimed at inculcating safety consciousness, embracing modern Information Communication Technology, thereby improving proficiency in safe road use. It will also help them deliver engaging and compelling workshops that will improve the service platform of the LASDRI.”
