Lagos Govt., NGO partner on free surgery to mark Sanwo-Olu’s 100 days in office vanguardngr.com vanguardnews
The Lagos State Government has partnered with the Benjamin Olowojebutu Foundation , a non-governmental organisation, to provide free surgical intervention for 100 people in the state.The News Agency of Nigeria reports that this was part of the activities marking the 100 days in office of Gov. Babajide Sanwol-Olu.
He said that the surgeries would hold immediately after at designated general hospitals which would be communicated to the selected patients. He said that the programme, like other free medical interventions earlier organised by the state, was to improve access to quality healthcare services towards achieving universal health coverage.
