Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday said six foreign nationals were discharged from COVID-19 isolation centres in the state.
He noted that they were among 37 patients who tested negative for COVID-19 after receiving treatment at the state treatment centres.
Sanwo-Olu emphasised the importance of maintaining physical distancing, use of face masks and practice of good hygiene as precautions against the virus. He said, “Good people of Lagos, today , 37 COVID-19 Lagos patients – 15 females and 22 males, including six foreign nationals – were discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
“The patients – eight from Agidingbi; seven from Onikan; seven from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba; one from Gbagada, two from First Cardiology and 12 from LUTH isolation centres – were discharged after full recovery. “Remember, stopping community spread of COVID-19 begins with you!
