Landlords and residents of Idimu Tuntun community, Egbe-Idimu, in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, have accused a fish pond owner
gathered that the matter was reported to sanitary officers at the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area, but nothing was done to change the situation.
The Chairman, Idimu Tuntun Phase II Community Development Association, Sanusi Ramon, said the issue had been on for over eight months. “In fact, at a time, he told us he would stop but late at night, we discovered that he still discharged his wastewater on the street. We have no power to stop him; we are begging the authorities to come to our aid so that we can have a healthy community.”
