The National Treasurer of the Labour Party, LP, Mrs Oluchi Oparah, has accused the party's National Chairman, Barrister Julius Abure, of engaging in anti-party activities. Oparah demanded an account of party funds and alleged that Abure prevented her from handling the party's accounts.

The LP treasurer made the allegation on Tuesday while featuring on Arise Television's Morning Show programme. The statement is coming on the heels of her demand on Monday during a press conference in Abuja that Abure should render an account of party funds of over N3.

Oparah equally alleged that Abure prevented her from exercising her constitutionally assigned role of handling the party’s accounts. But disputing a statement issued by the Labour Party that she was being sponsored by persons outside the party, Oparah maintained her earlier stand saying, 'They are masters at disseminating wrong information.'
