The senator representing Kwara North senatorial district in the National Assembly, Umar Sadiq, said he has, so far, granted scholarships to 300 indigent
He said the scholarships covered primary to post graduate school levels.Sadiq made these disclosures while featuring on the Kwara State Council Nigeria Union of Journalists Media Parliament themed “Raising the bar of good governance in Kwara North through effective kegislation” held in Ilorin, the state capital on Tuesday.
He added that 10 classrooms fully equipped with instructional materials were built by him to ensure easy access to quality education in the area.
