Kwankwaso accuses state COVID-19 committee over strange deaths in Kano
Kwankwaso, in an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari, titled: “COVID-19 and the rising incidences of mysterious deaths in Kano urged the federal government to take over the responsibility of rapid response on COVID-19 in the state.
The PDP chieftain in the letter accused the State committee on COVID-19 of being ‘a contraption of cronies, unqualified and incompetent. Part of the letter reads, “The uncoordinated and unprofessional manner in which the fight against the disease in Kano State is being waged and the attendant and unprecedented mistrust of the government by the governed; there is the near absence of cooperation and coordination between the state and the federal government on the COVID-19 response.
