The Kogi State National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal led by Justice Kashim Kaigama has dismissed the petition of Dino Melaye challenging the election of Smart Adeyemi as winner of Kogi West Senatorial re-run election in Kogi State.Consequently, the petition was dismissed for lacking in merit.
Melaye had claimed he was the authentic winner of the election and prayed the court to declared him winner having scored the highest number of valid votes.
