A video shows the exact moment a man started pelting King Charles III and Camilla with eggs on a royal visit. The dramatic footage shows the visit proceeding as planned with crowds lining the street.
Police officers at Micklegate Bar were seen restraining the suspect on the ground behind temporary fencing set up in the city for the King’s visit on Wednesday. In other pictures the broken eggs can clearly be seen on the ground, but none seemed to hit the King.
