Killing of 35 persons during presidential election worries cleric
State, Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma has expressed worry over the death of 35 persons in the last presidential and national assembly elections.
Obimma, who spoke during a Sunday service at Blessed Iwene Tansi Catholic Church, Umudioka, Dunukofia local government area of Anambra State, said the recent report by the Civil Liberties Organization that 35 persons died during the last Presidential election across the federation, appealed to Nigerians to vote and not fight during the election on the candidate of their choice.
