Two suspected kidnappers have been arrested by the police in Ogun State while trying to pick up ransom from families of their victim on Sunday.

They were reportedly apprehended following a report lodged at Agbara Area command by one Stephen Ajibili, who claimed that his seven-year-old son, Daniel Ajibili, had been kidnapped by unknown persons while he was sent on an errand by his mother at about 11:20 am. Having got the report, the Acting Area Commander in Agbara, CSP Kayode Shedrack, was said to have quickly mobilized detectives, who Oyeyemi said embarked on technical and intelligence-based investigation to unravel those behind the abduction.

He added that the arrested suspects subsequently led the policemen into the bush where the victim was tied to a tree.
