Kenyan festival to explore identity and history

Macondo Literary Festival, debuting in Kenya, is set to explore identity and history among English and Portuguese-speaking artists and audiences in Kenya.The event is taking place at the auditorium of the Kenya National Theatre from September 27 to 29 2019. Themed ‘Reimagining African Histories Through Literature,’ it will raise questions about what the two regions have in common, what unites and separates them, and how Africa’s history is told and retold.
