Senator Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, has praised Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun's appointment as the Chief Justice of Nigeria , describing it as a demonstration of President Bola Tinubu ’s respect for seniority and merit within the judiciary.
'The appointment of Justice Kekere-Ekun not only highlights her pedigree but also underscores the President’s respect for seniority and merit in the judiciary,” Lado said. 'For the first time, the Supreme Court has reached its full capacity of 21 justices. This is a testament to President Tinubu’s dedication to a revamped judiciary,” Lado remarked.
