The Katsina Emirate Council has written the Katsina State Government on its resolution to cancel all celebration during this year’s Eid El Kabir, citing COVID-19 and insecurity in the state as reasons

Meanwhile, many residents have been storming big markets and shops in the state to purchase clothes, jewellery and food items for the festival. Some of the traders attributed the high prices to the low value of the naira and insecurity in Katsina State.
