The suspended Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, Semiu Sodipo, has faulted his suspension by the leadership of a faction of the party loyal to Senator Buruji Kashamu.
Sodipo said he and 10 other members of the party’s executive had joined the other faction loyal to a former governorship aspirant, Oladipupo Adebutu. The embattled secretary said this while addressing journalists in Abeokuta on Sunday.
However, Sodipo explained that the Kashamu group lost a large chunk of the state working committee members to the Adebutu group. “They don’t have a working committee at all, the entire members of the working committee are 14 in number and they have only two while we have 10, and just two of them can’t call a working committee meeting.
