Secondary school students in Oyo State will jostle for a cash prize of N300,000 in an essay competition, which the organisers said aimed at promoting national peace, unity and social inclusion through sports, particularly football.

“We understand that many students are currently out of school due to the ongoing term break, and we don’t want them to miss out on this opportunity to participate in the competition,” said KAF spokesperson, Olaolu Adedayo. “By extending the deadline, we hope to give more students the chance to showcase their creativity and inspire others with their ideas on how to use sport to build better communities,” he added.

The foundation said its core value “is to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged through football, education, and general empowerment. Our mission is to create more prosperous communities with quality education, football, and opportunities while eliminating inequalities that promote poverty.”All rights reserved.
