Hajiya Halima, the wife of a serving senator from Kano State, Kabiru Gaya, is dead.

Our correspondent learnt that the wife of the former governor of Kano State might have died as a result of coronavirus-related complications at the National Hospital Abuja on Friday evening.

Buhari, in a condolence message issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Friday, described the late Hajiya Gaya as a “remarkable woman, who dedicated herself to promoting education.’’
