Kano is presently on a total lockdown while many other parts of the country are on partial lockdown.
Kano State Government on Thursday announced that it discharged three persons who earlier tested positive for coronavirus.Five other patients died of COVID-19, raising the death toll in the state to 13, the health ministry said.
According to the tweet, the recovered patients have been discharged from the government’s facility where they received treatment. This brings the number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in Kano to six since the outbreak of the disease in the state. On Wednesday night Nigeria Centre for Disease Control confirmed a total of 195 new cases of coronavirus in the country.
