Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, Chairman of the Kano State Pilgrims Board, has appealed to the Nigerian Government to explore the possibility of providing a subsidy for pilgrims in 2025. He made the request during a live interview on Freedom Radio's program on Monday, citing the current economic challenges facing the country and the impact on citizens' ability to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. He believes that a subsidy would alleviate the financial burden on Muslims aspiring to undertake this important religious duty.
