A set of conjoined babies out of a triplets, Hassana Isa and Husaina Isa, joined at the chest and sharing some vital organs, have left Kano State on Monday

The surgery is to be bankrolled by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre under the directive of the custodian of the two Holy Mosques, King Salman bn Abdulaziz.

In a press statement made available to journalists at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano before the departure of the family, the Press Attache at the Saudi Embassy, Muhammad Alsahabi, added that, “The twins’ family will be accommodated in Riyadh, and a support system will be in place to provide comfort and assistance throughout the journey.

She, however, expressed gratitude that they were going to undergo surgery to be separated in order to live a normal life.“I pray that we have a successful outing in Saudi Arabia and come back even happier. I thank the authorities behind this and pray to God Almighty to reward them,” the mother said.
