The Kaduna State Resident Doctors in Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital shunned the strike action embarked by the National Association of Resident Doctors (NARD) over an unfulfilled promise by the federal government.
Dr Sayyid Egbunu Muhammed, a Senior Registrar and President of Resident Doctors in the hospital, said that at the state level they are not joining the strike yet but if it lingers, they will show solidarity with their national body.According to him, the strike was embarked on over some demands of the doctors which the federal government failed to fulfil.
