Kaduna Attacks: El-Rufai Imposes 24-Hour Curfew On Two LGAs

Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna state has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Jemaa and Kaura local government areas of the state due to the rising insecurity in the two councils.

Last month, the Governor imposed a similar curfew on Zango Kataf and Kauru local government as a result of constant communal attacks in the area. An indigene of the area told Channels Television that the gunmen, in their large numbers, stormed Zikpak village in the night and started shooting sporadically. Then they proceeded to neighboring Ungwan Masara and Maraban Kagoro communities and also carried similar attacks with houses burnt.
