Kabiru Adjoto, former Edo Speaker dumps APC
Kabiru Adjoto, the former Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress in the state.“My resignation takes immediate effect,” he declared.
Adjoto explained that he took the decision after consulting with his conscience, family, friends and his teeming supporters. The former lawmaker stated that his resignation was also in line with Article 9.5 of the APC constitution. Adjoto said the decision was “clothed with apparel of mixed feelings”, as it translated to leaving the party he had contributed to build for more than a decade.
