Judiciary workers, under the aegis of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, on Tuesday faulted the comment by the Ekiti State Governor and Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Kayode Fayemi, on the suspe
nsion of the gazetting of the Presidential Executive Order 10 issued for the guaranteeing of the financial autonomy of the state legislature and judiciary.
But speaking with our correspondent on Tuesday, the President of JUSUN, Mr Marwan Adamu, said Fayemi could not speak on behalf of the President and urged the President to go ahead with the gazetting of the Executive Order. Marwan said, “To the best of my knowledge, Governor Fayemi is not the spokesperson for the President. He is not Femi Adesina or Garba Shehu, who are the ones competent to speak for the President. He is also not the AGF, who is also competent to speak on the matter.
