Ose Anenih, son of the late Chief Tony Anenih, a founding father of the Peoples Democratic Party , has resigned from the party.Anenih made his decision known in a letter dated August 18, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Ward Chairman of Arue Ward 3 in Uromi, Edo State.“This decision was not made lightly,” he wrote.The PDP leader noted that he had stood by the party through its triumphs and challenges, inspired by the ideals that first drew him into its fold.
While stepping away from party politics, Anenih reaffirmed his commitment to Nigeria’s progress. He pledged to remain engaged in civic and intellectual discourse aimed at strengthening good governance and improving the lives of citizens.“At this point in my life, my duty now lies first with my family and with other responsibilities that demand my full attention,” he said. “However, my commitment to Nigeria’s progress remains unshaken.
