The Organised Labour on Tuesday, May 28, staged a walkout during the Tripartite Committee meeting on Minimum Wage, rejecting the federal government’s increased offer of N60,000.The Nation reported that the government had initially proposed ₦48,000 and ₦54,000 last week, both of which were rejected by labour.With the labor unions’ deadline approaching on May 31, the Tripartite Committee tasked with negotiating a new minimum wage for Nigerian workers has yet to reach a consensus.
