JUST IN: Labour Party reacts to Tinubu’s meeting with labour leaders via politicsngr
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Tinubu and top members of his campaign council, on Monday met with the leaders of the Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress among others.But Tanko in a statement sent to this newspaper stated that his party, which is affiliated with the NLC, TUC and others, was not aware of the meeting.
“We were not aware of the meeting but the TUC and NLC are for everybody. You can come and discuss. But we know they are owner of the Labour party.“We don’t entertain any fear if they meet with Tinubu and members of the ruling party or not. But I wasn’t aware of the meeting anyway,” Tanko said.
