A ValueJet CRJ-900ER aircraft came alarmingly close to striking Fuji music legend Wasiu Ayinde Marshall—known to fans as K1 De Ultimate—while taxiing on the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport apron on Tuesday. A 23-second video shows the aircraft, bearing registration 5N-BXS, rolling forward even as K1 and ground handlers remained directly in its path. As the plane’s left wing swept past him, the singer instinctively ducked, narrowly escaping what could have been a deadly impact.

The ground crew and K1 moved away from the nose of the plane to the side. As the wing got close to the musician, he had to quickly duck to avoid being hit.
