JUST-IN: Ex-Ekiti Deputy Gov, Egbeyemi, Is Dead News
Egbeyemi, it was gathered, died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness. He was aged 79.
Reports said the Ado Ekiti-born lawyer and politician gave up the ghost at a popular private Multisystem Hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital. Egbeyemi, who was born on May 8, 1944, served as deputy governor to the immediate-past Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, from 2018 to 2022. Though, no official statement has been issued by his immediate family, the State government and his party, the All Progressives Congress , but his death has been confirmed by multiple credible sources in the State.
