Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu , Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and Samuel Ortom , are travelling to Madrid, Spain.

POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the governors have been regular visitors to Europe since the crisis in their party, the Peoples Democratic Party , started in June. The aggrieved PDP governors were sighted at the Port Harcourt International Airport en route to the European country on Saturday morning.Wike and his allies are insisting that only the resignation of Iyorchia Ayu as the National Chairman of the PDP will make them to support the candidacy of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar in respect of the 2023 presidential election.

According to him, Ayu stepping down from his position and a Southerner taking over, will bring about balance in the PDP’s structure.
