Residents of the village said that the gunmen stormed the village on motorcycles Tuesday morning, shooting indiscriminately and setting houses on fire.
The Village Head, Malam Abubakar Uba, told Reuters that the gunmen kidnapped the district head before proceeding to kidnap dozen others in the village. “They stormed the village on dozen motorcycles and their first stop was the District’s Head residence.
