The Nation Newspaper JUST IN: 18 passengers escape death on Lagos-Ibadan highway
At least 18 persons on Wednesday, October 25, narrowly escaped death in a car collision that happened on the Long Bridge section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
According to reports, the white 18-seater Mazda bus with the registration number FKJ285Y was transporting people from Maryland to Ibadan, One of the passengers, a mother of a six-month-old baby, said: “If not for God and the driver, I would have been a dead person by now. We thank God and the driver for saving out.”Another passenger, Abubakar, who was traveling to Kebbi state but planned to alight at Ibadan, claimed that the money he had on him could no longer get him to his goal in Kebbi state, and wept that he was the saddest on the bus.
