The arraignment of the defendant could not hold on Monday as earlier scheduled, as the court did not sit. Th Prosecutor, Mr Jeremiah Aernan, alleged that the defendant committed the offence on Dec. 3, 2018, at a joint in Oshodi, Lagos. Aernan said that the defendant was arrested on a tipoff, adding that the substance was recovered from him.Aernan said that trafficking in the substance contravened the provisions of Sections 11 of the NDLEA Act, Cap N30, Laws of the Federation, 2004.
