The appeal of two Lycoming County conservatives is headed to Commonwealth Court.
WILLIAMSPORT – A Lycoming County judge stands by his opinion that two voters are not entitled to a forensic audit of the November 2020 presidential election in the county.Richard Houser and Catherine Burns in their appealThe court is satisfied with that opinion and believes it has properly decided the issues in this case, he wrote.there is no provision in the state Election Code compelling the board of elections through an independent third party to conduct the audit that was requested.
Lacking, according to Linhardt, was a petition of at least 100 electors who voted in the election and a verification affidavit signed by at least five of them. The basis of their suit is the allegation county election officials failed as required to refer to the district attorney all allegations of fraud or irregularity.
