Although, the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to declare a winner, there are clear reports indicating that Dapo Abiodun of the All Progressives Congress , defeated Abiodun Akinlade, the preferred candidate of Amosun. Recall that Akinlade ran under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement .In a tweet on Sunday night, Fayose asked Amosun to congratulate Abiodun.
He said after conspiring with the APC to take Ekiti last year, Amosun is now experiencing something similar. Recall that Kolapo Olusola, Fayose’s anointed candidate in the election, lost to Kayode Fayemi, the incumbent governor. “Ibikunle Amosun, pls join us as we battle our orchestrated ‘loss’ at the tribunal. What goes around has come round. You “Ja Ekiti Gba!”, they have “Ja Ogun Gba.” Please remember to congratulate HE. Dapo Abiodun o,” he tweeted.
