Jigawa NNPP senatorial candidate Rabiu Taura is dead

Candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party, NNPP, for Jigawa Northwest Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections, Alh. Rabi’u Isah Taura is

He served as Jigawa State secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP; Commissioner of Land, and Commissioner of Agriculture and natural resources under Sule Lamido’s administration.

He later defected to NNPP alongside his boss, the NNPP gubernatorial candidate, Aminu Ibrahim Ringim, who was then at loggerheads with Lamido.Ringim confirmed the death in a statement issued to newsmen. He described his death as a great loss not only to the families but to the state and country in general.

He prayed for Allah SWA to grant the soul eternal rest and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.Related Topics:
