had earlier announced 16th August, 2025 as date for the Garki/Babura Federal constituency election following the death of Isa Dogon Yaro who died on May 10, 2024 at the age of 46. Speaking after the screening, Secretary of the screening committee PDP National headquarters, Abuja, Precious Ben said, the party had successfully screened it's candidate for the coming by-election of Garki/Babura constituency.
' 'Looking at his vast experience and popularity, I am sure he is the best candidate for the party and can compete and defeat with any candidate in other political parties' Speaking to Journalists after the screening, the party candidate Auwalu Manzo said he retired as a civil servant to contest the position to bring change to the constituent. He assured that his constituents would vote for him in the coming by election.
