Linfield captain hails new signing for adapting to life at Windsor
Mulgrew has seen it all in nearly 20 years and insists the Blues' results are scrutinised more than any other team. While the Linfield captain accepts that this is something you have to deal with at Windsor Park, he pointed out that not every player can deal with it.
"I think if you don't grasp that very, very quickly this place can swallow you up. If you want to you can say people know what they're getting themselves into whenever they sign here. Last weekend was a good one for Linfield as league leaders Larne dropped points as David Healy's men picked up the first piece of major silverware following their victory over Portadown in the BetMcLean Cup final. While Mulgrew hopes the cup win can give the Blues a confidence boost going into the last few weeks of the season, he says they will not be looking further than this afternoon's game at home to Newry City.
