Mt. Joy was recently on the road with The Lumineers when the tour was cut short by the pandemic. But even during quarantine — it's hard to keep these road warriors from making music. 👇
was formed by singer Matt Quinn and guitarist Sam Cooper who both grew up outside of Philadelphia and went to the same high school. The band's song"Silver Lining" off its 2018 self-titled debut album, ended up at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult Alternative chart., when the tour was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.
But it's hard to keep these road warriors from making music. Today we'll hear Mt. Joy perform songs that the group performed for us while in quarantine and hear Matt Quinn tell us the story of how he first started making music with Sam back in high school.
