The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has sturdily condemned last Wednesday’s military coup that ousted President Mohamed Bazoum of Niger
The Saudi Press Agency reports that Hissein Brahim Taha, the OIC Secretary-General, is following with great concern the developments in Niger, which is an OIC member state.
He also expressed his solidarity with the people of Niger and the OIC’s full support for the regional efforts being made toward restoring peace, stability and security, and stability to Niger, as well as to the entire Sahel region.
