Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays will become the “in-office” workdays at Apple but some employees are pushing back.
Adding a question about employee churn due to remote work to exit interviews
Over the last year, we often felt not just unheard but at times actively ignored. It feels like there is a disconnect between how the executive team thinks about remote / location-flexible work and the lived experiences of many of Apple’s employees.”The entire concept of “work” has altered as a result of the pandemic. If senior leaders—be it at Apple or elsewhere—don’t wake up to this seismic shift, employees will walk out the door to an organization that gets it.

Perhaps there are other reasons. And when trust is broken, an organization can welcome itself into a hornet’s nest of disengagement.
