Many criticised the Government for being too slow to lock down. I always thought lockdown was wrong, but concede that, without adequate testing and tracing capabilities, it was perhaps necessary to shock people into adjusting their behaviour. Today, testing and tracing is still inadequate, and the country is far from open.
