Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has condemned the burning of soldiers in Aba, Abia State, during yesterday's sit-at-home order, stressing that the act was a major setback to resolving the insecurity challenge in the Southeast. Uzodinma urged security agencies to fish out the armed men behind the incident and ensure they are made to face the wrath of the law.
He said: “On behalf of my brother governors in the South East Governors’ Forum, I condemn that incident and loss of the lives of soldiers who were on their duty posts. “Without any provocation, they were attacked by the men of the underworld. I want to condemn that and also to urge security agents to go all out and ensure that those behind that are caught and brought to book. “It is unfortunate that this happened.
