The Niger State lnter Party Advisory Council has rated Governor Abubakar Sani Bello high for respecting the rule of law by swearing in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate as chairman of Magama Local Government Area.Giving the commendation in an interview in Minna, the state chairman of IPAC, Mamman Damisa said Bello’s action not only showed that he has respect for the rule of law but desires that the nations’ democracy thrives.

“The Governor has displayed rare respect for the court ruling even as he was in a position to do contrary to favour his political party APC, he refused to do so but took the path of honour by respecting a court ruling. He stated that with that singular act, the council has resolved to formally visit the Governor to express its gratitude profoundly for guiding Niger State through the path of true democracy.
