Wife of the President, Oluremi Tinubu, has stated that investing in the girl child is for the good of the nation.

The President’s wife canvassed proper traditional and cultural orientation, just as she advised girls and boys to enlist in voluntary clubs. In her remarks, Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, assured Nigerians that the Federal Government was committed to ensuring that harmful and discriminatory practices against the girl child are totally eliminated.
